As Kae stated in her comment on my post, in deep thought, China holds the record for the longest traffic jam. According to worldrecordsacademy.org, this traffic jam on the Beijing-Tibet Expressway lasted for 11 days and stretched to about 60 miles. 11 DAYS?!?!?! Like G.i.m.i. stated, I would have just left my car after the first 10 hours. Who ever stayed for the 11 whole days must be very patient, which is something I'm not. What would YOU do if this ever happened to you?

All that I know about this is I have been involved in traffic that lasted about an hour and I was losing my mind. 11 days? Forget it. At that point, I can't even imagine what I would be thinking.
No probs deep! Glad i could help! =)
I second what Dodd said, my brain would die x.x They also had peepoh that sold food and neccesities for a bajillion times the cost in Beijing.
I really hate traffic too! It annoys me a lot when I have to wait at all in traffic so I don't no what I would do if there was an 11 day traffic jam. I would probably only last two hours at the most; then I would just leave my car wherever I was.
Deep!I have the exact same idea as you! I NEVER would wait 11 whole days in traffic! It only takes me 15 minutes to get to Caldwell each day, and if I am held up in 5 minutes worth of traffic, I am already freaking out about being late! One thing I see in common between all of us in New Jersey complaining about traffic and the traffic in China is that both of these areas are over-populated! If you go out to big states in the South that are less populated, there is a lot less traffic.
